Eric Schneider, General Manager
Schneider’s 30-year career has been spent as a PGA professional and in club management, most recently as vice president, club and golf operations for Georgia-based Sea Island Company, where he also had a tenure as general manager of the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond Lodge at Sea Island Golf Club.
He is a PGA Master Professional and has been named PGA National Merchandiser of the Year for Private Clubs and Manager of Golf World magazines' Business Top 100 Golf Shops five times.
Wendy Waikel, Clubhouse Manager
Wendy Waikel grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has been with Sycamore Hills Golf Club for five years. She is a regularly featured contributor to the LAKES Magazine and has worked as a baker, pantry chef and teacher in the Chicago area, Seattle and Fort Wayne. Her love of great food, music, travel, art and books fuels her writing.
Wendy is married and the proud owner of four spoiled fat cats. In any spare time she enjoys tending her home garden oasis, bike riding and visiting Seattle as much as possible.
Zack Wygant, Assistant Clubhouse Manager
Zack Wygant has been a member of the Sycamore Hills staff for 9 years, working his way up from parking cars to managing the Grill Room Bar.
As a wine enthusiast, Zack enjoys educating and recommending wines for gifts, special occasions or just for everyday dining.
He is a recent newlywed, marrying his wife Bethany in October of 2011.
Tori Metzger, Member Services Coordinator
Tori Metzger graduated cum laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. Tori got her start in the golf industry as an intern for the 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship in Dallas, Texas. After the Nelson, Tori stayed in Texas, taking a position as the Events Manager for Splitsville in Fairview, Texas.
Tori joined Sycamore Hills Golf Club as the member services coordinator in the summer of 2011 after moving back to Ohio from Texas. Born and raised in Van Wert, Ohio, she is an avid Ohio State football fan…Go Bucks!
